UPDATE 4/30:
Picture
UPDATE 3/21 10:00PM:
MGA will remain temporarily closed until at least March 31, 2020. We are still hopeful that the threat of COVID-19 will soon pass, and that we will be able to responsibly open our doors again soon. However the safety and health of the children and families that come into our center remain our top priority, and we plan to continue to follow the instructions of local and national health authorities.

Effective our first day of closing, March 15, and remaining in effect until we reopen, we have suspended all customer billings. All MGA memberships will be extended to cover the time of our closure.

Please continue to check back here, on social media, and in your email inbox for updates. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience and understanding, and we are hopeful that we will be seeing everyone again very soon.

UPDATE 3/17 8:45PM:
We are continuing to monitor everything that is going on, and are currently strategizing a plan for a possible limited opening next week, as long as federal and state regulations allow us to do so. If we are able to be open, we will be making the necessary precautions and measures to create a safe environment for children to be in. This may include:
  • a limited class schedule with less classes running per hour, and allowing classes to be kept separate
  • a 30-min time in between classes to sanitize equipment and prevent people from crossing paths
  • drop-off  at the gym door and pick-up at the side door (the main area of The Well is currently closed)
  • parents asked to stay outside unless you have a child that needs assistance (there may be a possibility of parents being able to use the balcony for viewing, if we are able to get permission)
  • a reservation system for people to use for classes so that we can track exactly how many people will be coming per hour
  • no personal items (including water bottles and bags) - children would need to arrive in uniform
THIS IS ALL TENTATIVE AT THIS POINT, as state or federal regulations could change at any time, preventing us from being open. Please know that we are doing everything that we can to provide our members with services. We are not doing any additional charges to customer accounts at this time, and any classes that are missed during this time can be made up by members once we reopen. Thank you, and we hope to see everyone very soon!

UPDATE 3/16 3:45PM:
  • New federal recommendations are to limit gatherings to 10 people or less.
  • For this reason, MGA is closed for all classes and activities, until further notice.
  • Please check back for updates on when we will be able to reopen.

UPDATE 3/16 11:00AM:
  • In order to try to stay within the CDC recommendation of limiting gatherings to 50 people, we ask that you consider dropping your child off for class, or limiting the time that you stay to watch.
  • You will still need to check in at the front desk before class, but until further notice, we will not be stamping hands.

UPDATE 3/14:

At MGA we are making adjustments so that you, our members can get more out of your memberships, and so that children in our community can have things to do for during this down time.

Come Say Hello

The Same Friendly Gym for Over 50 Years

In 1964, our family started a small gymnastics and dance studio outside of Washington DC.. Today, we still have that same small center feeling with two locations one in its current location and one here in Apopka, Florida, we just have a few more students then we used to. Family values are as important to us today as as they were back then. It’s important to us to always put our students first and to have a gym that is a positive learning place for kids.

We serve Central Florida, Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Longwood, Ocoee, Tavares, Eustis, Mount Dora, Winter Garden, Maitland and Widermere area.
